The internet has come a long way. Back when I got the internet (I won't mention the year) playing porn games would have been a dream come true. If you told me back then, that you would be able to load up a sex game on your browser or on your mobile phone, I would have called you crazy. Back in the day, the only nudity in video games I got was a sneak peek at some cleavage in duke nukem or staring at Lara Croft's behind in 2D on the PlayStation. Here we are, with thousands upon thousands of sites to indulge every single niche you can think of. Most porn games use the browser, but now you can use android and apple to play them, and the graphics are actually pretty good. We would all like to see these games from our POV, but unfortunately VR porn games are not a thing at the moment, but I'm sure good things are coming in that aspect. 

As the tech advances and our needs crave more interactive games, the graphics and the accessibility changes also. Back in the day, the games were all paid, and the free ones were useless. Nowadays, it isn't like this. I mean, you can't really expect XBOX like graphics on a free porn game, or any porn game for that matter. The graphics matter to an extent and really add to the realistic feel. 

There is so much choice, what can I expect?

Most XXX games are free, there are occasional paid ones, but you can skip them.  Microtransactions do find themselves in a lot of these games, they have to make money somehow, but again, it is an optional extra and not required. A lot of these sites can be dodgy, in terms of ads and malware, but I've gone through every single site here, so you can enjoy these games in peace. The games themselves are pretty lightweight and don't require a beast of a PC to play, they are usually flash based browser games on your desktop or mobile device. Very rarely do you need to download anything to play. There are some big title games with big file sizes that need to be downloaded, they are usually multi-episodic/character driven game, where you can deep dive into the story or a fun size set of boobs. Whatever floats your boat.

My current favourite is the Porn RPG's that are currently the latest fad. These games are highly detailed, with so many power ups and level ups for you to collect. Obviously, there are add-ons you can buy which might give you that extra edge, but you can enjoy these for free. After all, we are all here for the sex part of the games. Virtual girlfriend games have become more and more popular now also. It's like Tamagochi on steroids, except you don't need to feed them food. These women won't nag at you to do the dishes or take the rubbish out. 

How Do I Use Them?

The games cover a variety of platforms, so no matter where you are, you can load up and get right into the action. If you're on PC, Linux, Mac or any portable mobile device, they are all readily available so you have no excuse not to try them. You can even use your web browser to play them in game, and they usually save your progress, which is a bonus. This way you won't have to download them onto your work PC, and have your co-worker peering over your shoulder wondering what the heck you are doing. 

On other devices, you will usually have to download a program or app onto your device, and then run it. From there, it will act like a game you've already installed. Don't worry, all the sites I've picked are completely safe, so you can rest assured you're not installing some sort of malware onto your personal system. I wouldn't call them discreet though, they are usually unique in their look and feel, so I wouldn't recommend opening them in public. You can't really explain these sorts of games to the person on the bus next to you, can you?

Are the games realistic?

When it comes to animation/hentai, there is always scope to overexaggerate things. Creativity has no limits when it's animated, and that holds true for porn games. Everything is amped up to 11. Of course, there are some realistic games such as busty office worker or sexy librarian, there is also oversized boobs in your face that you have to fight past or a level boss that you need to defeat, and not by magic. There are different genres also such as action, role-play, scenario simulations and just flat out crazy hentai games which have so much colour that it will make you go blind. Certain games have certain scenarios, like a story book game where you pick which path to go on, and whatever path you pick affects where the story goes and which scenarios you find yourself in. 

If you're expecting real lifelike visuals, then you may find yourself disappointed. You can't compare these games to mainstream ones, as they usually have large budgets and take a few years to make. These are usually churned out to make money. You are enticed in with the free version, and optional upgrades are paid for. 

They Can Be Addictive

These games can be played anywhere you wish, but remember they are NSFW, so I can't be held accountable for the sudden sex noises coming from your phone or PC at work, and unfortunately you can't brag to your friends about the highest score you got on the orc vs ogre level. Well, you can, but you may get some funny looks and be left out of the next wedding list. 

If you find a game you like, make sure to check out the developer and see if they have any others which might tickle your fancy. There are all sorts of styles around, to tickle every taste bud. New games are coming out all the time, it's a pretty competitive industry. Indie developers have taken over the porn game space also, looking to make the next best thing.
